This past weekend I joined some friends of mine, Glory Bound Ministries, in a drum circle outreach at Lake Eola in downtown Orlando. This type of ministry takes us back to our roots during the coffeehouse days of street and park outreaches. While drummers played, the parables of Jesus were explained to all onlookers who had gathered. The word of the Lord came forth specifically for some.
We shared the truth and love of Christ, made some new relationships and were invited to a few other, larger gatherings of drummers. Sometimes just being willing to sit among the people and share an afternoon together opens wonderful doors for the Lord to move.
Acts 17:17 So he reasoned in the marketplace day by day with those who happened to be there.
