We have decided to start PREP on June 21st. Why June 21? June 21 is the longest day of the year 2010. Also the word solstice in Latin is translated to “be still” which is a great way to hear Jesus speaking to us. Sometimes our plans on a launch date can be filled with so much activity that we forget to take the time to “be still” and really hear God and His purpose in our plans. Early Christians used this time to celebrate St. John the Baptist’s life and it may be fitting for 365 as, like John with Jesus, we prepare the way for other artists after us to make an impact, with Jesus as our center, on the modern artistic culture. This in mind, as we fast and pray let us do it not as a 365 “activity” but as a personal way to take our eyes off things of the world and focus even more on God.

yeah, we are planning on having a show after the year is complete. oh yeah, it alot.
Fasting is over for me. I feel alert and aware of all of my actions pertaining to 365. I speak about it and feel a sense of anticipation for what will happen a year from now. Faith without works is dead… LET THE PAINTING BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am not yet done with the fast but man am i learning so much. THANKYOU GOD:) and thankyou susan, scott, and jim for making this happen and for teaching me how to completely submit my talent to GOD! by fasting and praying GOD has given me dreams and visions like never before. now to paint them is another story. hahaha but knowing tht He’s taking the time to answer our prayers is incredible. im ready to get started and im crazy to see the move of GOD even more. THANKYOU FATHER FOR ALL YOU DO:) WE ARE NOT WORTHY OF YOUR LOVE. LOVE YOU LORD!

I am filled with excitement, hope, splendor of the possibilites and with “butterflies” lol in anticipation– to see what I will learn on this journey. My prayer is that by the time 365 has completed its task in me, many will be touched by the collabrative effort. A infinite God reaching a finite people. An intelligent God reaching a responsive creation. I am also realizing that 365 will become more than an exersice, for me but a life changing act of worship. 3 more hours before i can speak again but whts crazy is i kinda like it this way. GOD has shown me in 12 days just how upside down this world is. ive realized, it is not the mute with the handicap rather it is those who CAN speak… those who have a voice… whom are handicap.
